Trout Fishing

The Puniu river on the edge of the property is just one of many streams and rivers in the area that can be easily explored from Trout Heaven. Craig and Wendy your hosts are both keen anglers and have been fishing the local rivers for over 10 years.

Rock Climbing

Some of New Zealand's Best rock climbing can be found just 5 minutes drive from Trout Heaven. Wharepapa Rock climbing

Get in a few climbs then recover with a relaxing drink on the deck back at Trout Heaven.

Waitomo caves are only 30 minutes drive. Rotorua and Taupo are just over an hour.
